2000 Season

Repertoire - A New Hope for the Millennium

            The 2000 program of “Inspirational” music suggests a “New Hope for the Millennium”.  Opening with Sandi Patti’s “Make His Praise Glorious”, a production full of the energy and optimism we hope will captivate audiences all over America.  The remainder of the program is music adapted from the Oscar award winning film “The Prince of Egypt”, with an intense, lively, and extremely emotional original score by Hans Zimmer that tells the timeless story of Moses and the deliverance of the Hebrew people out of Egypt.   Selections include “Deliver Us”, “River Lullaby”, “Through Heaven’s Eyes”, “Red Sea”  and “When You Believe”.

Capital Regiment took 6^th place at DCI Division III Finals with a score of 81.45.
