Repertoire – A Brave New World

The show, “A Brave New World” blends the magnificence of Dvoraks romantic era “New World Symphony” with contemporary works by American composers.   Themes from the Dvorak masterpiece are introduced at the beginning and then appear throughout the show.  Joseph Spaniolas energetic “Escapade” leads into “Journey of the Brave”, an original percussion work by the corps own Kate Tice and Kevin Murphy.  Alan Hovhaness’ mystical “Mysterious Mountain” is followed by part two of “Escapade”.

            Capital Regiment took 19^th place at DCI Division I Finals with a score of 80.15.
