Repertoire – A Celebration of Life: Mind, Body, and Spirit

A Celebration of Life: Mind, Body and Spirit is based mostly on the music of David Holsinger. The show opens with the famous sacred hymn “Old Hundredth”, with trumpet choirs and guard soloists representing the three main elements of the show.  The rest of the show is based on the music of David Holsinger. “ Ballet Exaltare” is the impetus for the journey into the mind.  The gorgeous “Homage: Tapestry Two” sets the stage for the body segment.  The pulsating jazz of “Scootin’ on the Hardrock” captures the exhilaration of the human spirit, followed by a blending of all prior melodies into “Old Hundredth” for a rousing celebration of life.

Capital Regiment took 14th place at DCI Division I finals with a score of 83.25.
